UPDATE @ 5:45 p.m. Oct. 4: A woman waived her right to a jury trial in connection to the March 2014 death of Nichelle McKnight and disappearance of her 4-year-old son, Zaden McKnight, who is presumed dead. Tonisha L. Harris, now 31, waived her right to a jury trial on Friday, and will instead have a judge preside over her case, online Montgomery County Common Pleas Court documents show. Harris is charged with two counts of gross abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence and failure to report a crime. She remains out of jail on electronic home detention.
